Seminarian Brunch Fundraiser
On Saturday, October 19, the Most Reverend Peter A. Libasci, Bishop of Manchester, hosted the first Seminarian Brunch Fundraiser. This event provided the public an opportunity to meet our seminarians and share brunch while supporting vocations within the diocese. Each year, the diocese spends nearly $500,000 on tuition and room and board for our seminarians—a little more than $100 a day for each young man studying to be a priest. As many priests are retiring, the diocese is investing in these seminarians to help with their formation and for the future needs of the church.
The brunch included great food, live music, silent auction items, the premier of our new diocesan vocations video, and much more. It was held at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford, NH.
