Parish Secretaries/Staff: If your parish subscribes to Parable, we invite you to include a customized parish message on the back cover of the magazine. Please consult with your pastor in crafting your message. The imprint area on the back cover allows for eight lines of text. The first line is reserved for your parish name. The remaining seven lines are for the parish message with up to 50 characters of text per line.

You may run a standard parish message for multiple issues or may change your message for any issue. Given Parable is produced well in advance of its publication date, please make any changes to the parish message directly in the PALM data base by noon on the dates below.

Facts

A number of pastors from around the diocese have joined together in a wonderful endeavor to share with their parishioners the healing, forgiving, caring, catechetical, spiritual and faith tradition of the church.

What is Parable?

Parable is the Official Magazine of the Diocese of Manchester.

When the Lord Jesus revealed the truth about the Kingdom of God, he did so through the use of parables. In every parable he shared with us the healing, forgiving, and caring aspects of the Father’s great love for us. In imitating the Lord in this way, Parable is an instrument for the Diocese of Manchester to tell the Good News of Jesus Christ through the stories of the faithful in New Hampshire.

Columns & Articles

Parable looks at contemporary issues from a faith perspective. Parable magazine teams with FAITH Catholic (www.faithmag.com) in Lansing, Michigan. The majority of the content is local and less than 5% is supplement material from FAITH Catholic including columns about family, work life, and parenting.

Reach

Reach: Bishop Peter A. Libasci is the publisher of Parable. His goal is to reach every registered Catholic in the Diocese of Manchester. Currently Parable reaches over 50,000 Catholic households from 50 parishes.
